Brightest wheels ever!
All wheels in this listing are 62mm diameter and 85A durometer.
SIXIES are a brand new model from Luminous - they have 6 LEDs instead of the usual 4 so are extra bright.Slim Hub Luminous wheel is available in white only - made for those axles that are shorter. (Arius plates, we are looking at you.)
We enjoy skating everywhere in these, from discos to the streets.
Safety first wheels outside, so you can light up at night! When the wheels are spinning at regular skating speed, it looks like a continuous light, rather than flashing.
The most challenging thing we have found when using these wheels is to look where you are going, and don't look at your feet!
These wheels contain a dynamo, so they only light up when they are spinning. The dynamo needs to be very firmly pressed in place with the bearings, try slightly overtightening the axle nut and then loosening it again (or ideally, use a bearing press to provide even pressure.)
All the wheels in this listing are the same size : 62mm and the same durometer (hardness) : 85A, so you can mix and match two packs for two colours.
The 'Glow' range of wheels have an additional compound in the formula, so they continue to glow for a short while, even after the wheel has stopped spinning. These have a black plastic hub. We think they should be called 'Flash 'n' Glow' as they do both!
The OG range of luminous wheels were in primary colours only, and these wheels all contain super bright white LED lights that flash through the coloured wheel when they're in motion. The white wheels are dazzling! The coloured wheels give a lovely bright glow.
The Glitter range of wheels contain LEDs in different colours, that give more of a sparkly effect. If the OG wheels make folks say 'OOOH' then you know for sure the Glitter ones will! If you like your wheels like fireworks, you will enjoy these! Please see our separate listings for Glitter Wheels.
