Service Description

Suitable for complete beginners, skaters returning from injury or folks not feeling too confident. We warmly welcome those who are starting their roller skate journey. You will also receive a free class at the sports hall to attend within 6 weeks of completion of this course. Numbers are limited to ensure we can keep an optimum student to Skate Coach ratio. What size hire skates do I need? We recommend you ask for your regular shoe size. Our skate hire is available in full sizes only, from UK 3 - UK 12 Skate hire is included with every course ticket. What will we learn? Our course is carefully structured to allow you to develop and progress week on week. We will learn about the mental blocks that stop us from learning to roller skate, how to over come these as well as all the skills you need to get started. Each week we will cover different skills designed to build your confidence in all areas, including: getting started falling safely starting stopping how to skate backwards and a whole lot more! Remember: Roller skate skills can take months to develop, depending on the skill you want to learn. We are not able to include all skills every week - skaters attend these sessions until they feel confident to progress to our skills workshops. If you're not sure, please speak to a member of the coach team at class. What happens if I miss a week? Unfortunately we are not able to offer make up classes or offer refunds as part of our course, as our course is structured to support progression week on week. Please be sure you can attend before booking. Can I bring my own refreshments? Yes of course. We want to keep this skate space alcohol free, so ask you do not bring alcohol to consume on the premises, including the car park. If you bring your own water bottle, we are able to refill this for you for free. We also have a small selection of soft drinks for sale. Should you spill your drink, please let a marshall know straight away. Please make sure you are not eating and drinking while you skate, that includes chewing gum.
