All ages and abilities warmly welcomed. What happens at family friendly learn n' roll? It is a roller disco, but at the Ramgarhia Sports Centre! Expect old school disco vibes, complete with a small tuck shop Quad and inline skaters are welcome. We have a small amount of space for accompanying non-skating partners. Is this a coached session? No. - Our marshalls will help you get started rolling if you are new to skating. There is a part of the hall for practising and moving slowly, the rest of the hall is set out as a rink. If you would like to learn how to do a specific skate skill you can ask our marshall team. Please note, however that our team needs to look after all the skaters in the session so they'll give you a few quick tips for you to try out on your own. Will skate hire be available? Yes, We recommend you ask for your regular shoe size. If you try skates on and they're not right for you, we are happy to swap them. Our skate hire is available in full sizes only, from Junior 8 - Adult UK 15. There are also a few toddler skates available. All hire skates are hired on a first come first served basis You no longer need to book a hire ticket online. Skate hire is now available from the Hire cupboard for £2 per session - you can pay by cash or card. We will also have protective pads available for you to borrow on a first come first served basis. Will refreshments be available? Yes. A selection of cold drinks will be available. Please note: Due to the nature of the venue we are unable to provide hot drinks - There is no cafe onsite. Cancellation Policy
Skaters under 18 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian. All skaters must complete or hold a valid waiver. All identities and genders are welcome. We welcome inline skaters. Skateboards, scooters and heelys are not allowed. You authorise Roller Girl Gang to take photographs and video of the session to share on their website and social media. Please speak to a member of the RGG team at the session if you do not wish your image to be included. Published event times reflect venue availability time - you may be asked to remove your skates up to 15 minutes before the published end time in order for us to clear the venue on time. By booking you accept our Respect policy as well as our liability waiver Waiver of Liability - You agree that you undertake all roller skating at your own risk. If you are booking on behalf of other people, you assume this risk on their behalf. You agree not to hold Roller Girl Gang, its staff or volunteers liable for any accident or injury that may occur. Roller Girl Gang are able to offer to reschedule or refund your class when you provide 24 hours or more notice by email only to: skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk Should Roller Girl Gang cancel the event, you will be refunded in full. We are only able to refund the value of the ticket you paid. Any extra costs incurred will not be refunded. Our cancellation and refund policy is in line with standard event and ticket policies as outlined by Citizens Advice. Wellness Policy - By booking a ticket, we will assume you are well and there are no reasons you should not be roller skating. It is impossible to provide an exhaustive list of conditions which would prevent you from skating. If you are in any doubt regarding your fitness to skate, please consult a medical professional before booking a ticket. If you feel you have a reason, medical or otherwise that your skating ability may be impaired, you must inform a member of the RGG team at the start of the session If after talking with a member of the team you decide not to skate, no refund will be given unless the required 24 hr notice period has been met.
