Service Description
What is a Friday Night Skate Social? Come and skate, have a chat, meet other skaters in the community and unwind! Our skate marshalls are here to ensure everyone has a great time and skate safely. I have never roller skated before - is FNS for me? We welcome folks of all skill levels, including folks with very little or no experience. Our skate marshalls are more than happy to give you tips to get started, but are not able to provide any kind of tuition beyond this. Please come to one of our coach led classes if you'd like a better breakdown of movements. What size hire skates do I need? We recommend you ask for your regular shoe size. If you try skates on and they're not right for you, we are happy to swap them. Our skate hire is available in full sizes only, from UK 3 - UK 15. All hire skates and protective pads are hired on a first come first served basis. Skate hire is now available from the Hire cupboard for £3 per session - you can pay by cash or card. Hire skates are recalled at 21:45 and session end is 21:50 to allow us to clear the venue by 22:00. Can I bring my own refreshments? Yes of course. We want to keep this skate space alcohol free, so ask you do not bring alcohol to consume on the premises, including the car park. If you bring your own water bottle, we are able to refill this for you for free. We also have a small selection of soft drinks for sale. Should you spill your drink, please let a marshall know straight away. Please make sure you are not eating and drinking while you skate, that includes chewing gum. Can I wear my own headphones? While we do our best to cater a wide mix of music that will suit most people, we appreciate that you may prefer your own music. It is fine to wear your own headphones, however you must be extra vigilant and fully aware of folks around you. If we feel you are not being considerate of other skaters or you miss instructions from our skate marshalls, we will ask you to remove them. Can I collect my shop order from FNS? You absolutely can, providing you have made the order with sufficient time for the team to plan this. You can contact the shop directly on +44 7479 430404 . Will the wheel library be available? The wheel library is no longer available at Ramgarhia. Cancellation Policy
Skaters under 18 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian. All skaters must complete or hold a valid waiver. All identities and genders are welcome. We welcome inline skaters. Skateboards, scooters and heelys are not allowed. You authorise Roller Girl Gang to take photographs and video of the session to share on their website and social media. Please speak to a member of the RGG team at the session if you do not wish your image to be included. Published event times reflect venue availability time - you may be asked to remove your skates up to 15 minutes before the published end time in order for us to clear the venue on time. By booking you accept our Respect policy as well as our liability waiver Waiver of Liability - You agree that you undertake all roller skating at your own risk. If you are booking on behalf of other people, you assume this risk on their behalf. You agree not to hold Roller Girl Gang, its staff or volunteers liable for any accident or injury that may occur. Roller Girl Gang are able to offer to reschedule or refund your class when you provide 24 hours or more notice by email only to: skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk Should Roller Girl Gang cancel the event, you will be refunded in full. We are only able to refund the value of the ticket you paid. Any extra costs incurred will not be refunded. Our cancellation and refund policy is in line with standard event and ticket policies as outlined by Citizens Advice. Wellness Policy - By booking a ticket, we will assume you are well and there are no reasons you should not be roller skating. It is impossible to provide an exhaustive list of conditions which would prevent you from skating. If you are in any doubt regarding your fitness to skate, please consult a medical professional before booking a ticket. If you feel you have a reason, medical or otherwise that your skating ability may be impaired, you must inform a member of the RGG team at the start of the session If after talking with a member of the team you decide not to skate, no refund will be given unless the required 24 hr notice period has been met.
