Our monthly guest dance teacher workshops have been carefully curated to enhance your dance.
Service Description
We find lots of roller skaters are feet-focussed and miss out on the enjoyment of using their arms and upper body to support and embrace the full dance experience. We have hesitation about fully and freely expressing ourselves for lots of reasons! Including not knowing how or where to get started. Don't worry - Roller Girl Gang are here to offer you carefully selected guest teachers, known and loved by our team, to support specific movements. All our workshops are off-skates. Our dance teachers are not necessarily skaters, and we know it is easier to learn without being worried that you may fall over. Following the workshop, you will have an opportunity to continue to dance and explore the moves, either on or off skates as we flip our studio into disco-mode! Cancellation Policy
Skaters under 18 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian. All skaters must complete or hold a valid waiver. All identities and genders are welcome. We welcome inline skaters. Skateboards, scooters and heelys are not allowed. You authorise Roller Girl Gang to take photographs and video of the session to share on their website and social media. Please speak to a member of the RGG team at the session if you do not wish your image to be included. Published event times reflect venue availability time - you may be asked to remove your skates up to 15 minutes before the published end time in order for us to clear the venue on time. By booking you accept our Respect policy as well as our liability waiver Waiver of Liability - You agree that you undertake all roller skating at your own risk. If you are booking on behalf of other people, you assume this risk on their behalf. You agree not to hold Roller Girl Gang, its staff or volunteers liable for any accident or injury that may occur. Roller Girl Gang are able to offer to reschedule or refund your class when you provide 24 hours or more notice by email only to: skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk Should Roller Girl Gang cancel the event, you will be refunded in full. We are only able to refund the value of the ticket you paid. Any extra costs incurred will not be refunded. Our cancellation and refund policy is in line with standard event and ticket policies as outlined by Citizens Advice. Wellness Policy - By booking a ticket, we will assume you are well and there are no reasons you should not be roller skating. It is impossible to provide an exhaustive list of conditions which would prevent you from skating. If you are in any doubt regarding your fitness to skate, please consult a medical professional before booking a ticket. If you feel you have a reason, medical or otherwise that your skating ability may be impaired, you must inform a member of the RGG team at the start of the session If after talking with a member of the team you decide not to skate, no refund will be given unless the required 24 hr notice period has been met.
