Monthly student members night to bring student skaters together.
Service Description
Our monthly student members-only session. This is free for student members (sign up during our Freshers' Event on 19th September for a discount!) This is a night to bring together skaters across different further and higher education establishments in Leeds. You must show your student membership card on arrival and sign in to the studio. If you lose your membership card, you will be required to replace it for £1. Membership cards may only be used by the named student. Additional proof of ID may be required. If you are working on something specific, you may wish to bring your own headphones, but please ensure you are aware of others around you. Skate Hire Skate hire is available from the front desk for £2 per session - you can pay by cash or card Drinking water is available for free and we have a selection of hot and cold refreshments for sale. Video Etiquette We are happy for skaters to take progress video for their personal reflection, however we ask you keep filming to a minimum. If you wish to film for extended periods of time, please consider booking our studio privately. All our student members must abide by our Respect policy. If we feel your conduct is not in keeping with this policy, we reserve the right to revoke your membership at any time, with no refund. Cancellation Policy
Skaters under 18 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian. All skaters must complete or hold a valid waiver. All identities and genders are welcome. We welcome inline skaters. Skateboards, scooters and heelys are not allowed. You authorise Roller Girl Gang to take photographs and video of the session to share on their website and social media. Please speak to a member of the RGG team at the session if you do not wish your image to be included. Published event times reflect venue availability time - you may be asked to remove your skates up to 15 minutes before the published end time in order for us to clear the venue on time. By booking you accept our Respect policy as well as our liability waiver Waiver of Liability - You agree that you undertake all roller skating at your own risk. If you are booking on behalf of other people, you assume this risk on their behalf. You agree not to hold Roller Girl Gang, its staff or volunteers liable for any accident or injury that may occur. Roller Girl Gang are able to offer to reschedule or refund your class when you provide 24 hours or more notice by email only to: skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk Should Roller Girl Gang cancel the event, you will be refunded in full. We are only able to refund the value of the ticket you paid. Any extra costs incurred will not be refunded. Our cancellation and refund policy is in line with standard event and ticket policies as outlined by Citizens Advice. Wellness Policy - By booking a ticket, we will assume you are well and there are no reasons you should not be roller skating. It is impossible to provide an exhaustive list of conditions which would prevent you from skating. If you are in any doubt regarding your fitness to skate, please consult a medical professional before booking a ticket. If you feel you have a reason, medical or otherwise that your skating ability may be impaired, you must inform a member of the RGG team at the start of the session If after talking with a member of the team you decide not to skate, no refund will be given unless the required 24 hr notice period has been met.
